Education: Bachelor of Arts degree from CSU StanislausCertification: California Teaching Credential, ACSI CertifiedExperience: Before I became a teacher, I was a Teacher’s Assistant and Substitute Teacher for 5 years. I have worked in all grade levels from Kindergarten through Eighth grade. Once I was done with my teacher credentialing program, I taught 3rd grade in California. I have been teaching at Green Valley Christian School for 5 years now. I taught 3rd grade for 3 years, and 5th grade for two.Years at GVCS: 5I was born and raised in Lodi, California. I attended a Christian school as an elementary student, and went back as a teacher’s assistant after completing high school. While working as a Teacher’s Assistant and Substitute Teacher, I was working on my B.A. at CSU Stanislaus.In May, 2003 I graduated from CSU Stanislaus and began my fifth year to earn my California Teaching Credential. After receiving my credential in 2004 I taught 3rd grade at First Baptist Christian School in Stockton, California.In July 2005 my husband and I moved to Henderson, and I started teaching here at GVCS. I taught 3rd grade for three years, and last year moved up to 5th grade. I feel blessed to be part of such a great school, and to have the opportunity to work with amazing students.My husband and I have been married for 11 years and in 2006 we welcomed our daughter, Megan, into our family. We love this adventure of parenting and thank God every day for allowing us to be her parents.In my spare time I love to go out to dinner and Starbucks with my family and friends or just hang out at home spending quality time with my family.
