Green Valley Christian Elementary School

Hi! I’d like to welcome you to Green Valley Christian School, 2nd grade II! Home of the Superstars! My goal is to provide a loving and nurturing place where your child will excel both academically and spiritually.

 

My name is Diane Underwood. I have been working at GVCS since 1998. I have worked here as an assistant, a long term substitute and a teacher. Pretty much everything!

 

I am a Las Vegas native, born and raised. I graduated from Clark High School. I attended the University of Utah, where I studied Psychology. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Education from Hartford University.

 

I have been married to Lee since 1987. He is a civil engineer working as a Project Manager for PBS&J. He works mainly in airport design.

 

We have 2 wonderful sons. Nick attends UNLV where he is studying engineering. Alex is attending Nevada State College where he is studying Business. Alex also works at GVCS in the after school and summer program. Both of our boys attended GVCS for elementary school. They are both graduates from Silverado High School. We are very proud of them!

 

We also have 3 dogs, Rocco, Zoe, and Mia. They are very spoiled and a very big part of our family!
