Experience: I started teaching in the fall of 2003. I have taught kindergarten for five years. I have also taught fifth grade as well as seventh and eighth grade math.

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Coulter and I am blessed to be given this opportunity to be a part of so many families’ lives. I look forward to sharing with you my passion for teaching and I anxiously await making lifelong memories with the little ones as they journey through their kindergarten year here at Green Valley Christian School.
I would like to give you some background information and a little insight to who I am. Please know that I am eager to meet all of you so that I may get to know you and your family as well. Before moving to Las Vegas, I attended the University of California, San Diego where I received a B.A. in Psychology. Once the Lord led me to teaching I returned to school and attended Nevada State College where my focus was elementary education. I have been teaching since the fall of 2003 and have taught kindergarten the majority of the time. I left Green Valley Christian School after four years of being on the faculty to stay home with my children. Nearly two years later I was thrilled to get back in the classroom, especially here at GVCS. My family consists of my husband and myself and our two little boys, Johnny and Jace. We also have two cats, Cali and Diego. I was born and raised in San Diego and enjoy traveling there as often as possible. And yes, I am still a Chargers fan! I also love camping and working on home improvement projects. I am positive that as we spend more time together you will come to know much more about me and see for yourself just how much I love to teach.
