Education: Certification: NAEA member Experience: I started in the field of Visual Merchandising and Store Design in 1988. In1996, I was appointed as Regional Visual Director of all Las Vegas Macy’s Department stores. I was the youngest Regional Visual Director ever appointed. I held this position until 2000. In 2000, God led me to I moved to Years at GVCS: 3 years Welcome to GVCS Art class! In art class students will learn: art techniques, art history, art terms, art styles, and how to express themselves through art. I believe that all students are artists, some have natural talent; others have hidden talent. It is my job to pull the talent from them. Kindergarten, First and Second grades will meet in the art room for instruction once a week. Third through Sixth grades will meet twice a week. I have placed the Grading Policy/Procedures form online for you to view with your child and sign. We will be uploading student’s artwork to Artsonia Web-Museum. Artsonia is a web based museum that will showcase your child's artwork enabling relatives and friends to view their artwork. Artwork uploaded from Artsonia may be put on T-shirts, mouse pads, cards and other various products. Through the purchase of these products Artsonia will give GVCS 10 % of all profits. Please fill out the online form and return to me. I will then email you the code for your child/ren. You will need to use that code when logging on. If you would like to help us with Artsonia by taking pictures of the artwork or scanning images please make sure to check off the bottom of the form.
