Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Hawaii. Master’s Degree in Special Education with a generalist license from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (Graduation date: July 17th 2010) Experience: My two passions are working with young people and physical fitness. I began at Green Valley Christian School as a teaching assistant in the 5th grade. When the opportunity arose for me to work in the physical education department, I was elated! I have been the Physical Education teacher at Green Valley Christian School for the past three years and I continually strive to make each and every P.E. class as successful as possible. A good physical education program is so very essential because it provides the vigorous physical activities necessary to help our students’ physical development. My goal is to aid in the well rounded development of our children, and my hope is to teach each and every student to enjoy and participate in wholesome physical recreation today and throughout life.
Additionally, it has been my honor to accept the position of Athletic Director at Green Valley Christian School. We offer a wide array of extracurricular sports including volleyball, flag football, basketball, tennis, golf, and cheerleading. Our exciting program offers athletes the opportunity to increase their fundamental sporting skills, improve their cooperative group skills, and compete in a positive, Christian setting. Each and every year is an exciting new learning experience for both our athletes and teachers.
