GVCS competes in the NIAA- Nevada Independent Athletic Association (Varsity sports), and the VAC- Valley Athletic Conference (Elementary/Jr. High sports) with programs offered for both boys and girls (K-12).
Our Athletic Department is centered on strong Christian values.
Thus, athletics offered at GVCS are not of primary importance; faith, family, education, and extracurricular activities (i.e. sports) are how our Athletic Department prioritizes the student-athletes at our school.
At GVCS, we value our students to be well-rounded individuals, so we challenge our students to be successful in all phases of the educational process. This is done through a variety of methods; clubs, community service, student government, and of course the aforementioned Athletic Department.
The department focuses on producing high school graduates who embody the "entire person" principle - mind, body and soul.
Currently at GVCS, we offer student-athletes the following varsity sports: baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, golf, and track & field.
These programs exist along with our flourishing elementary and junior high sports. It is our goal at GVCS to produce quality student-athletes that not only succeed on the field, but also more importantly off the field, as people that contribute greatly to society.
