Jr. & Sr. High Do Something Day – Friday, February 23, 2018

Here are the organizations the Jr. & Sr. High School will be volunteering at:

-Clean the World: We will be helping with building hygiene kits for those in need and sorting discarded soaps and plastic bottles.

-Las Vegas Rescue Mission: We will be helping to sort food, clothes and serving in the kitchen, as well as cleaning the warehouse.

-Salvation Army: Will be sorting and distributing food, as well as cleaning and organizing the warehouse.

-Three Square: Is an organization affiliated with Feeding America and serving four counties in Southern Nevada: Clark, Nye, Lincoln and Esmeralda. Students will help with the Back Pack for Kids Program; filling backpacks with weekend food the children.

-WHY (White Horse Youth) Ranch: Youth organization providing a safe place for socially challenged children to experience personal healing through horse therapy. Students will help with yard and maintenance work.

– Project 150: Project 150 currently serves over 1,500 homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged students at 38 high schools in Southern Nevada and four in Reno.

– Harmon Elementary School: Harmon Elementary is a Title One school, where a high percentage of children from low-income families attend. The students will be putting together care packages for the students and much more.
